Over time there is always change.  I have been providing optometric services since 1979 and I appreciate your continued loyalty and support over the years.  No, this isn’t a retirement announcement but I am making some office policy changes as of April 14, 2022.  I do feel it is time for me to taper down to specific Third Party insurances that I accept.  So after April 14, 2022 I will only accept Traditional Medicare (no advantage plans), CareSource, Lions Club, and also continue with self-pay patients.
After April 14, 2022 there will be no Third Party Vision Plans accepted such as EyeMed and VSP.  I will continue to accept payments via cash, check, credit card, and Care Credit.
I will continue offering the same services that you have been accustomed to; I’m just limiting my Third Party billing services.  So I can continue doing your vision exam, but if you want to have your prescription filled using your vision insurance plan through another provider – that can be done and it is totally understandable.
I am grateful to be chosen by you in the past, and I still hope to be your choice in the present.  I hope this letter finds you well.  Keep safe!
